„Ich möchte platt sein. Ich möchte, dass du mich flach auf der Wasseroberfläche hüpfen lässt. Ich komme weg, aber nicht voran. So kitschig, so schön, während langsam meine Finger taub werden und dem Schmerz entfliehen.“
Ein Tanzstück, das sich nicht vor Scham scheut. Schaudernd und dabei singend versinkend erzählen wir eine Reise weit weg von uns selbst und tauchen irgendwo wieder auf. Das Wo ist uns entfallen. Ein Schmerz des Verlustes. Eine Erinnerung an ein anderes Verständnis von Zeit wird erweckt. Wir bilden zeitgleich zwei Persönlichkeiten aus; eine sucht die Kontrolle zu behalten, einen Plan zu haben und die andere sucht den Kontrollverlust und möchte sich dem absoluten Sein hingeben. Zerrissen von diesem Widerspruch taumeln wir zwischen Plan und Schwindel. Ein Tanz, der sich wie ein Ouroboros selbst verschlingt.

In der Kreation des Stückes hinterfragen die Künstler*innen das Begehren des Schmerzes, den Kontrollverlust und der Sehnsucht nach Eskapismus. Sie begegnen Momenten der Scham und fragen sich: Aushalten oder Fliehen?

get away, but not ahead. So kitschy, so beautiful, while slowly my fingers go numb and escape the pain.“
A dance piece that does not shy away from shame. Shuddering and sinking into song we take a journey far away from ourselves and reappear somewhere. The where slipped our minds. A pain of loss. A memory of a different understanding of time is awakened. We develop two personalities at the same time; one seeks to retain control, to have a plan and the other seeks to lose control and wants to surrender to absolute being. Torn by this contradiction, we stagger between plan and dizziness. A dance that devours itself like an ouroboros.

In the creation of the piece, the artists scrutinise the desire for pain, the loss of control and the longing for escapism. They encounter moments of shame and ask themselves: endure or flee?
