Under the concept of „ÜBERFLÜSSIG“ three dancers and one musician come together to research the
transformative relationship between time and the (queer) human and non human body.
How we work:
In a continuous dialogue between dance and sound, we have found a way to include the inscrutable into our
research. There is a layer response between the sound (live created with natural objects, effect-pedals, contact
microphones and voice) and the performers that allows information stored in our collective memory to translate
into dance.
As a conceptual base we read on theories about different timelines (linear, circle, spiral) Funghi, Speciesism,
Queer-Theory, Somatics and (eastern european) Folk Dances.
There is a great interest in working with audience participation in the further development.
